Blue-faced leicester: BFL is a long wool breed, super soft and buttery, with a fairly long staple length. It takes dye beautifully and is easy to spin. One of my personal favorites.

Superwash Merino Lambswool: Machine washable, super soft fine wool. Dyeing this fiber results in deep, rich colors with lots of shading. Ideal for socks, baby items or anything else that should be soft to the touch yet washable.

Alpaca/Merino/Silk: 50% alpaca, 30% merino and 20% tussah silk. So soft and luxurious! All the best in this roving - the alpaca will make it drapey, the merino adds memory and the silk adds a beautiful sheen.

Merino and Mohair: 70% merino, 30% fine mohair. Discontinued as of January 1, 2008. We hope to offer a wool and mohair blend again in the future.

Merino/Silk/Angora: This super soft, delightful roving is a blend of 50% merino, 30% silk and 20% angora. Enough silk to give it a wonderful drape, enough angora for light halo and all the memory and softness that merino brings - this spinning fiber will make a wonderful knitting yarn.

Merino/Tencel: Soft and luxurious, this roving is a blend of 50% Merino and 50% Tencel. Tencel is a cellulose fiber derived from wood pulp, similar in many ways to rayon. The tencel adds a soft shimmer, similar to silk. With the softness from the merino and the strength of the tencel, this roving would be great for socks. Tencel also adds some drape, so it could make for a lovely scarf or shawl. Currently listed on Etsy!

Fine Wool Blend: This amazing roving is a blend of merino, rambouillette and targhee. Very soft, with the springy, squishy feel of targhee. Discontinued as of January 1, 2008. We hope to offer this fabulous blend again soon!
